My Story
As one of the first Canadians to sign up with this amazing company and become one of the first Directors in Canada , I have only looked forward to new things and enjoyed making new friends across Canada and the US. My journey to this amazing company started 7 years ago after I had my first child, I became very uneasy not having a job. I needed something to fill my thoughts about going back to work. One day a friend of mine gave me a candle, it smelled awesome! After I had burned the whole candle I went out looking for another candle that smelled just like it. Come to find out I couldn't find that scent anywhere. So I started on my journey of ordering some fragrance oils and wax to refill my jar. That was the day that I started my own candle business. I worked hard for the next 6 years selling retail and wholesale out of my home. My business got to the point of becoming too big to work from my home, but we live in a town that is very expensive so getting a warehouse was out of the question. That was when I decided to quit, it was hard but I thought that it would be best for me and my family. But having no business anymore got my head thinking what else I should do next. So for the next year I ordered candles from other companies to smell and burn, but I did not find anything that even compared to mine. That is until I found Scentsy! I read their scent descriptions and they all sounded interesting and I was hoping they smelled good. So I decided to give it a shot! When I finally received my starter package I could not believe what I was smelling! These scents smell AMAZING! This is what I have been searching for! I am so happy I have found Scentsy! It helps me to keep busy and to sell some great scents that I truely believe in. I know for sure this will be a long relationship for years to come. I am proud to announce that I have qualified for Scentsy's trip. Me and my husband are heading to the beautiful Island of Hawaii with Scentsy in June.
